Addressing the United Nations Millennium Development Goals
The UN has set out eight points critical to the increased well being of developing areas. The Maitreya Healthcare Project will address four of those goals.
- Promote gender equality, empower women
- Reduce child mortality
- Improve maternal health
- Combat HIV/AIDs, malaria and other diseases
Maitreya Project’s Education, Employment and Environmental activities will address the remaining four goals:
- Eradicate extreme poverty and hunger
- Achieve universal primary education
- Ensure environmental sustainability
- Develop a global partnership for development
